Setting your Total Time (TT)
This section refers to the Pilot's Dashboard
When your HCM account is set up, it's important to start the ball rolling with the hours you have currently flown before you start logging flights. This will keep your experience levels up to date, for your logbook (available in .pdf, .xlsx, and Logten Pro formats).
This is on your personal dashboard, and accesible by the top right menu
From the last page of your logbook, before any HCM flights are recorded, enter the total amount of hours you have for Single Engine (S/E), Multi Engine (M/E), and IFR, TRI or Instructional capacity for Day and Night into the top box on the My Experience
page.
Setting your previous experience per type
This section is a breakdown of the Total Time you have just entered, to enable running totals of current time on Types as you log flights.
Enter here (for each type your company operates) the total time (P1, P2, Day, Night etc) as it stands before the HCM account is created.
These settings are the 'Starting Point' for total time calculations. They will not be updated as you fly hours within the company. For the latest up-to-date information you need to look at My Resume
which is detailed in 'Checking your totals'.
