Adding personnel

The HeliCrewManager system is built on making it as easy as possible to manage and roster crew members - individuals and groups of them.

Creating duties

In HeliCrewManager, you can set up your defined duty definitions (that may be in your operations manual) as Duty Templates in the system.

Establishing checks and recency

Crew checks and recency items can be complex additions to the HCM system, so lets set up an example for each type of expiring component.

Setting up rulesets

In HCM, calculating the legality of your rosters and duties all come down the rulesets you have set up for your system. Most operators should be serviced by the default sets or with some alternate adjustments. However, with HCM's flexibility there is opportunity to configure your own based on your requirements - but we must make decisions to set this up now either way.

Now you have some data in your system, it's time to understand how to use it to your advantage and get the most out of HCM's rostering capabilities and powerful calculation engine.

In order for HCM to work properly, users, checks and recency items need to be grouped, and applied to each other to unlock the functionality of the HCM system.
